Rate My Rap Lyrics-Dreams

I know its sorta hard trying to rate a rap song when you're only reading it. But just try to get it on a flow or something. So its my first rap that I'm trying. All criticism is accepted. Rate from a scale of 1-10.

Follow your dreams no matter how hard things seem to be.
You can complete any obstacle that comes in between.
Set your mind to it and I guarantee you'll succeed.
Whatever motivates you man it may be the green.
The fantasies that occur when you're deep in your sleep.
Just know its never ever over till the fat lady sings.
So until that time comes don't let your life freeze.
Sh!t don't go right the first time revise your strategy.
And through your course of life just know that you'll make enemies.
Don't take them the wrong way use them to your advantage you see.
Cus hate is what they'll bring so feed off the energy to unleash the beast to take that last leap towards what you wanna be just know that there's no boundaries.
Something special, successful is what your bound to be.
And don't ever do something that will make you loose your pride.
Cus once you've done that you've lost all that's inside.

i find that rap is more about what one feels and life rather than acting hard and gangster like. i would really like to read more of your raps...

If I hated difference of opinion, why did I get into rock music where everyone's got a different opinion to things and people aren't so quick to aggravate like you're doing now?

If I'm such a *ahem* "hater" for rap, why am I a big fan of NWA, Ice T, Cypress Hill, Run DMC and the mighty Public Enemy? Why have I been into them since their early days and never given up on it?

Hmm I can't seem to find a good flow in the lyrics, though I do like the message and the way you described it. I just can't find the way you 'flowed' your lyrics, but that's probably because you had like a 'beat' in your head and it's hard to put that to paper (or... to the computer )

I like it though, I guess I'd rate it 7/10.

Noone can truely guess a flow to lyrics unless they have music to back it up.

but you might have a chance if you listened to Public Enemy, whenever I rap, I follow Chuck D's method of rhyme, not some idiot like fiddy Cent.

I didn't repeat what you typed:
I added the word truely to give a more defined meaning than you did...
you said it's hard to guess my "flow" and put it to paper.
I said noone can truely do that when there's no music played.

at times people feel that they have 2 defend themselves to defend who they are, where as at times people defend themselves to defend what they believe in and who they believe....

buy the way i Menace 2 Society happen to be a 5 time rap battle champion so i guess you should really think about what you are going to write and who you are going to write about before you do....
