i really have to say that learning by translations of songs is great and also very usefull!!! ofcourse my friend is also explaining and teaching me some things, but most of the time he is too busy with work to help me learning everything, so i'm learning it on my own!

well, I see you are improving a lot! (specially Nadieh and Yussuf). Nadieh, you have a persian boyfriend! cool! you have an extra help for learning. I believe there are lots of persians in the States and also Germany and the Netherlands. And think there is none in Spain (well, maybe a couple of them). I am planning to go to the embassy here in Madrid. I read in the internet there are free Farsi courses there.

Vanda, I confess I dont like Idin ver much, but this argument of the eyebrowns and the fact he looks gay... what about kamran & Hooman? and they are quite popular though.

yesss my boyfriend is persian that's how i got interested in the iranian culture and music.. my first farsi words i learnt were words like dooset daraam, azizam, azize delam, delam barat tang shodeh etc... and real first words like salam and khoda hafez.. but now i want to learn everything haha i hope that one day i am able to start a conversation in farsi and then he will be like: "whaaaat?!!? where did you learn all that?!" haha

i think you're right about the persians in the netherlands.. i know some people here.. also people from afghanistan.. if i am not mistaking afghanians speak "farsi dari"??? anyway, they can communicate.. :-P

so, you're going to the embassy? that would be very cool to take free lessons there !!! i hope it will work out for you to take lessons!!

"tajik" is from the country tajikistan.. it's near pakistan i think..?..

"manam halam khoobe" or "manam khoobe halam" or "manam khoobam"
