I analysed as follows: tregoj = I tell; zemrës time = my heart; për herë = each time. So I wondered: what's the function of 'sikur ti' in this sentence?

in Albanian "I could tell my heart each time" a direct translation would be "mund ti them zemres cdo here" however, this doesn't really make sense the way it does in English, and it does not emphasize "could". In Albanian when you use "sikur ti" it somewhat stresses what you are saying. I guess it is sort of like the term "even if i...". The sentence makes more sense this way : )
