Is it o.k. to say in english: gloryfing songs? \shiri tahila\ שירי תהילה
Because I translated the sentence as : glory songs. I thought that saying: gloryfing songs, is a better or more accurate to say in english??

As to you question "glorifying songs" is technically grammatically correct in English but I would not say it, it's a bit awkward. "Songs of praise" sounds better. To tell you the truth when I first heard those words I translated them in my head as "psalms of praise" since the name for sefer hatehalim in English is "The Book of Psalms" but maybe I'm just a bit biblicaly-minded here.
