My Chemical Romance.. yes or no?

I don't really like their whole image, their songs are alright, Helena was a good one but the one i really like from them is "Teenagers".
It sound really different to the rest of their tracks, more like old school 70's/80's rock. Give it a listen, and tell me what you think of this song, and of the band in general..

They were a good band until the release of their new album, The Black Parade. It is completely unoriginal--even its concept is not original! Listen to these songs and compare them:

"Dead!" - "I Want You To Want Me" (Cheap Trick)
"The End" - "In the Flesh?" (Pink Floyd)
"Teenagers" -"Should I Stay or Should I Go?" (The Clash--actually, this song [Teenagers] is incredibly similar to most 70s protopunk music like The Stooges and The Rolling Stones)

I think that My Chemical Romance are really good! I think that bot of their albums are fantastic, although I would lean more towards the second one at the moment which yes does seem to be inspired by the 70's but is still done in their own way and really good! I must say that during their first album I wasn't keen on their image but still obviously enjoyed listening to them, however for the second album their image is so much better! It's brilliant!

yea .. their pretty good. I like their songs. My friend is obsessed which is a tad annoying. but other then that .. their good

i think they are alright. not the greatest of bands out there. i like their first single "I promise, I'm Not Okay", "Helena", and "Ghost In You" that one is my favorite from them. i wasn't too fond of their new album besides the song "I Do Love You" and "Famous Last Words" i didn't like really a whole lot of this album. don't know why..

i think they are completely unoriginal,stock, and a waste of a record deal. bands like this are taking up the space that could be used by new artists with new ideas.

Uhm, They have 3 albums...

and honestly...

Their first one is the best to me.
The second one is okay,
but The Black Parade just.... sucked, to put it lightly.
