Slamming each other is just avoiding the topic, although i do agree with the 'unregistered' people with everything they say.
My vote? U2- the only band true to what they believe in. I dont see them walking round the world shooting people up or sticking needles in their arms. I see them creating inspirational music relating to what the world is truly like while praying for what it should be.
They have some of the best lyrics rivaling other well known artists/bands and they did, have and will forever secure my vote to be the best band known ever.
And yes, whatever we say is our opinions, so lets be a bit more civil about it people... please?

umm.. I'd have to say, No one can ever say What the best band of all time is, because, people have different tastes.
I, in my opinion, think from first to last, Silverstein, And City & colour are pretty good, & 3 of my favorite bands .. are they the best band(s) of all time ? No, Even i don't think that. It depends on your standards towards music, & personal Taste. Not everyone can agree..

HEY, cut the c**p about U2. Theyre the first rock band i've listened and i like them very much. I admitt that their last album is not very good, but u gotta listen some earlier stuff, like Joshua Tree. F**k Maddox, man.

Every time i hear that Punk/pop **** on the radio it makes me want to cut myself open and use my kidneys as ear muffs, to save myself from the musical abomination that is the horrible whine of Simple Plan, or Good Charlotte, or any other band with the words "don't let me slip away" whined over and over again.
I would rather listen to the sounds of a man getting raped in prison than listen to it all. At least that way there would be someone making noise with a certain sense of passion and commercial mind.
The Next time i hear the words "good", "yellow", "plan", "charlotte" "card" or "simple" spoken in the same sentence refering to Music, i will violently stab the person responsible for the blasphemy that is the Whiney Punk *** raping we are taking as members of a population.

it's pretty clear that dance music is coming back around the world -- just check the recent big American hip-hop and R&B hits which are clear rip-offs of the european dance style.....

The one thing that bugs me is that some of you are listing the bands that YOU enjoy listening to. Some of you are listing very recent bands and have a while to become the 'best band of all time'
