Yeah. that's why I don't even like rap anymore because it use to be about the art you know who got the flow and with the hot beats. Now it's all about who can shoot who and how many girls they can have in their videos half naked. It's getting to the point that I really don't watch videos anymore. Rap has totally went down hill seriosuly. And all this beefing shyt is ridiclous that's how we lost alot of people. They just don't learn?

topdivanc, I think you're on the money with most of what you posted. The junk that's on the radio right now is sad.

If any of you really love rap music, you'd learn the history of it. There's a lot of positive rap music from back in the day that we need to get back to today.

Rap is all about identity. People like to listen to music they can relate to, music that makes them feel like someone understands, or that speaks to their situation or in their voice. If you don't like rap, than rap doesn't like you, and its not trying to appeal to you so get over it. its not your cup of tea. Same goes for country music, or reggaeton, or punk, or emo, or any genre of music, its about identity.

I'm not a fan of Rap due to it becoming so offensive towards people these days. Chicks having their value negated, songs named "Yo Gotti After I **** Your *****," and so much more.

Some songs can have an absolute godly beat, sound really good, but if you can't understand what the person is saying or if every three words from the person's mouth is about ****ing some random *****... It's just not enjoyable for me.

But that's not to say that is all Rap has become. There are a few artists who aren't like that, I'm well aware. But I tend to stray away from music that gets butchered by fans. (I was to the point of stabbing one of my friends when she and her boyfriend wouldn't stop singing that Jolly Rancher song over and over. )

Woah, hold on. Topdivanc started saying that rap has merely to have kind of a trashy image that is embraced by shallow people. Now we're just saying that rap sucks period. I think that a good rap "artist" is hard to find. But they are out there. If unregistered wanted to actually form a valid point then "she" (I think.) would just point out that emo is just as bad as rap because the two are both extremes. Rap is nowadays kind of a naricisstiic kind of music because many artists have given up on actual meaning in their songs and just go for sheer shock value. But emo is the exact opposite, it embraces self-loathing and **** like that. Topdivanc started out with a good idea but it got messed up thanks to feed the anarchy and namesarepointless92 who need to pull their heads out of their asses and accept different music. Not listen to, EXCEPT. That means not posting a billion messages about how much other music sucks. Just let it go, if you want to explain why you don't like it fine, but don't condemn it. oh and Problems? Your actually pretty hilarious. You can condemn other music if you do it in a way that will make people laugh.
