Regina Spektor - The Call (from the Narnia film Prince Caspian soundtrack - it's kind of melancholically uplifting!?)

    Fiona Apple - Sally's Song

    Queensryche - Silent Lucidity

Dionne Warwick - Walk on By

will add anymore as they come to me!

the songs or the artists? never heard of Dionne Warwick??

Fiona Apple and Regina Spektor are both kinda piano-led jazz/rock/alternative.. I love Fiona's songs particularly, ...she writes some great lyrics and has an amazing voice and wow she is a great performer..!! Sally's song is a cover of the track from the Nightmare before Christmas.. 8)

Wonderful World cover by Eva Cassidy (mainly 'cause she was dying when she recorded it) or Danny Boy - Eva Cassidy (just gut-wrenchingly great)

It's country but really great songs and everytime i hear it i cry and its called, The Little Girl by John Michael Montgomery.
Another one i love is Concrete Angel by Martina McBride.
Evanescence- Hello, that one is kinda goth in a way but its very depressing and sad.

Here's the links and they all go in order in the way i listed them above:
