At this moment I only have Serbian, Macedonian and Bulgarian songs.
There are 414 songs in total on my Ipod now.
I like to change them often.

approximately:
50% German
50% English
I have one Spanish song, but it's sort of a joke song by the German band Rammstein. Also by Rammstein, I have a song with Russian backing vocals.
and I have one Romanian song (take a guess)

Haha I love those guys and I still have their album omg I remember being totally hooked on that album
Let's see... Just a few years ago I used to listen to a lot of different songs in other languages, but now I mainly listen to English, say 70%... The rest 20% is Turkish and 10% is German. When I listen to music now, I focus on the message(s) in the song and whether or not the song deals with a growing issue in our society. I focus more on the message rather than the melody, that explains why I mostly listen to songs in languages that I understand.
But it still doesn't mean that I listen to all kind of English, German or Turkish music, as I said just before, the music I listen to has to contain a great and somewhat serious message

Well, I know enough German to get the message of a song in German, and I am an American, so I understand English music without a problem. That accounts for most of the music I listen to, and if I'm listening to a song in a language other than English or German I almost always try to find a translation online. When I listen to a song, I definitely like to know what it is about. Although, the message doesn't always have to be really serious and meaningful, it mostly depends on my mood.

To me the language doesn't matter actually, if it's rock or metal, and deals with something that I can relate to, then I'd listen to it. I don't say that the message always has to be serious, of course it's something that absolutely depends on your mood. But a song that doesn't contain a serious message, e.g. as I said before social issues and so on, would still have some kind of a meaning, so it would still be meaningful without being serious.
Maybe it also depends on how you define "meaningful". Just to take an example, I personally don't see anything meaningful in the most pop songs being played on the radio today. It's always the same; someone pretends to be happy and calls on everybody else to party, voila there you got a song! The same old themes go on and on, and all in just the same way, nothing artistic at all, yeh let's just all pretend we're happy.

first off, umm.. unlike others who only like one genre of music, i like all sorts of musics, i only listen to the songs that i consider good (others may rather have diff opinions) so yea
also, fyi, i usualy get my european songs from Eurovision song contest, an annual song contest where one european country sends one representative to compete, sometimes they have some rly good music (sometimes they dont)
English: wow i hav tons, do you want me to list them all? but i gonna admit, my top fav r Linkin Park, System of a Down, Timbaland, Nelly Furtado, Rihanna, Tool, Megadeth,
Chinese: im sorry, i dont want to recommend any chinese songs, they r pretty bad
Japanese, theres only one songs, by a korean artist (suprisingly enough), her name is BoA, and the song is called Rock with You, for some reason, i really like this song.
Korean, dunno, some random ones
French: M Pokora (hes awesome, loves his music), DeMago, MC Solaar (for sure, hes the only rapper that i love)
Spanish: D'Nash, Tiziano Ferro (hes the best), Paolo Meneguzzi (superbe)
Italian: Tiziano Ferro, Paolo Meneguzzi (yes, they just showed up in the Spainish section, yea they are italians who release albums in both italian and spanish ), Lacuna Coil (the best italian gothic metal band out there), and also Zero Assoluto
Russian: Tatu (i love them, all the things she said, they just recently released a new album), Dima Bilan, Sergey Lazarev, Via Gra (a.k.a. Nu Vigros) (they r the hot, and they music r awesome), Serebro, Gluk'oza, Band'eros, MakSim
I LOVE RUSSIAN MUSIC
Armenian: Sirusho - Qele Qele, Hayko - Anytime you need, these r two great armenia songs
Turkish: Tarkan (the best turkish singer), Murat Boz, Cem Adrian (his music is rly relaxing, mystical,) Mor ve Otesi (a great turkish rock band), Hadise (shes a begium-borned turkish, she has songs in french, english, and turkish)
Hindu: Nitin Sawhney (i love his music), go check out "mausam" "koyal"
Finnish: Nightwish (most of their songs r in english actuall, but they are awesome)
Icelandic: eurobandid - this is my life, i love this song, and this one Fullkomiđ Líf (the icelandic version of this is my life)
Hebrew: Boaz Mauda, Shiri Maimon (hasheket shenishar is a great song)
German: RAMMSTEIN, for sure, love every single song, Cinema Bizarre, Lafee
Norwegian: Secret Garden, Maria Storeng
Latin: Enigma (their music is great, )
Greek: Helena Paparizou (i love her), Sakis Rouvas (another great greek singer), Kostas Martakis, Sarbel, Tamta, Kalomira
Serbian: Marija Šerifović - Molitva, a great song, and also Jelena Tomašević - Oro, Željko Joksimović - Lane Moje
Bosnian: Hata Mari Hata - Leyla
Romanian: 3rei sud est, morandi, and OZONE
Belarussian - Dimitry Koldun - work your magic, and all his other songs
others: Urban Trad - Sanomi (and other songs by them)
WITHIN TEMPTATION , a great dutch symphonic heavy metal band, i love them
i think thats it, i hav more like little ones, i didnt list the artists that hav one or two songs that i like a lot

Sorry for saying but it's cute The only one I've never heard before is Baby Alice otherwise I like almost all the rest but ABBA. I know, I'm a Swede but really dislike ABBA, I must be crazy
If you like Swedish music you should try to find Swedish songs by Carola on for example YouTube, many are really good and specially "Jag vill alltid älska" and "Himlen i min famn". Otherwise the Swedish singers Bosson, DaBuzz, Darin, Ola, Shirley Clamp and Sonja Aldén are very good. I can recommend the song "Det är inte regn som faller" by Sonja Aldén and "Min kärlek" by Shirley Clamp.
Soooo here you go!
