Hello, This message is for FIN who asked whether Sergio Franchi ever recorded the song, "PIZZA-ZZA" and asked where to find it. I saw your post and asked someone on another forum whom I consider a Sergio Franchi "expert" and this was his reply:
Regarding the song - yes Sergio did record that song. It is called: (Give Him That) Pizza-zza. It is on the RCA Victor LP "La Dolce Italy" (LSP-3500), released in 1966. It's an uptempo tarantella song, sung in Italian, with another chorus in English. A cute song about a fellow who falls in love with a girl who owns a pizzeria (or perhaps her father owns the pizzeria). The LP "La Dolce Italy" is not on CD. But the person who wants that recording should be able to find a good copy of that LP on amazon or ebay, or numerous other outlets that sell used LP's and CD's. Should not be hard to find. Also try
www.musicstack.com as another strong possibility. You can pass this info on to the person seeking this recording.
OK, now I hope the poster, FIN gets this message and that it will prove helpful! If you reply to this post, I will pass your message to the person who provided the information. Thank you. Joann
