Correct Me If I'm Wrong, You Pretty Much Have To Sell Out For Your Music To Be Mainstream don't you?..I hate that term"sell out"...now, blatantly pimping out your bands name is something different, you don't need to do that, Gene Simmons is a prostitute, He'll sell anything with a kiss symbol on it,.....many bands were apprehensive to "sell out"...most notably Metalica and greenday

ohhhh..and fooooor sure Greenday has to attributed to almost all of the current pop punk bands, no question, they made pop punk what it is today, even if it is 4 chord simplicity, simplicity is catchy, and catchy tunes sell, thats a fact
