Default Virtual Instruments

Just wondering if anyone knows some good sites for free (not illegal) instruments such as guitar for use with computer music? I use Cubase SX so it needs to be compatable with that. Thanks

Lightbulb 'Virtual Instruments'

'Greets, Sounds as though you are talking about some sort of software. True? Not exactly clear, as recently the instrument mfrs have been producing a bunch of hybrid contraptions; you know you touch them and play some way. NOT using some qwerty-board. There was the iAXE, and the Synth guitar that uses a hex coil. The k-boards are another dimension. But you are saying that you want some sound card of a particular guitar, No? Say, the Enchanted Axe of the Wizard, for example. O.K. But if your are really talking about those other cyberized instruments, then we have a basis for a chat. The really biggie was from Gibson, The Magic Guitar. But after they did a lot of promotion, they never put the instrument on the market. The idea was, you plug into the appliance using the USB and use the program that you are running; say Cubase. Logic, SoundForge, Cakewalk,. . whatever. The interesting part was that they wanted to have some software for 'Conferencing'. Right, so that you could interface the Gibson with other appliance users. You know, even get together an on-line Symphonic Orchestra. But, am clueless about that. Could have been too Quadrophonic. You know, not user-friendly enough. So depends upon what you post as to what could be the virtual answer. D.D.'

Post 'Virtual Instruments'

'Waited for a while, maybe there would be a jam answer, but no. So, am post again. Guess that this member must be referringto the download, could be Guitar Guru Download. Not really certain about the kreative level of the actual sound, but you could make up a file on the Cubase and morph the download file, then use the morphed file when you are writing for the guitar. D.D.'

Send a message via MSN to vranac
i know for a prog name HYDROGEN, its a drum emulating machine and you can export your song into .waw format. try it via google. or if you have fast link, you can try to find some torrents of grooveagent, virtual bassist or guitar pro 5, from which you can also export to .waw, and with real sounds turned on, it looks like real instruments. wish you luck ))
