I was on this foreign student exchange trip in France for a week in May 2006, and almost everytime we went out driving, the same song played on the radio.
The singer was a woman, but my host family didn't know what the song name/artist name was.

I tried getting the refrain right on my guitar today, and I know it's really amateurish, but I'll love you forever if you help me find out the name of the song
Refrain goes something like this.

It was obviosuly a popular song in France at that time, so if you're French you've probably heard it.
