I can try with the last term: "Rasgado" describes the way Spaniards and Hispanics play the guitar when doing flamenco...you approach the 6 (or 12) strings with a clenched fist, then you open the fist extremely quickly, producing the typical Spanish "drrrrrrengggg" sound

Chances are though that it hasn't got too much to do with the meaning in your title

The strict translation of Rasgado is from the verb to tear : it means torn.

With regard to Frevo, hmmmm..... Frevo describes is a wide range of musical styles associated with Brazilian Carnival and the word frevo is said to come from frever, a mis-speaking of the Portuguese verb ferver, to boil. It can mean either the frevo music or the frevo dance. I'm led to believe that the frevo music came first.

The most common meaning of the word "frevo" is an instrumental style, played in a fiery fast tempo with brass instruments.

    Confused! I know I am
