    Thumbs up Happoradio - Tavikset

Someone at Youtube requested a translation of this great song. So, here's a quick one. Original lyrics in Finnish by Aki Tykki 2006. Translation by me.

    Happoradio - Tavikset (Ordinary people)

Malt drink from milk, a god from the drink
Delirium tremens from the god, a cry from the madness
I can't stand hurrying and I don't have patience to lie down
Moderation in everything, expect too much drink on saturdays

School bench from the cradle, to the workshop from the bench
Shitty pay from the workshop, shitty pay of course
I don't want to fight and I can't stand harmony
Days go by while scribbleing, what do I really want?

    (Chorus)
Ordinary people want true tv, own home and a small family.
Ordinary people want true tv, a relationship from today's tabloid.

It's evening and I sit here, someone called Leena is singing
The atmosphere is great, sound and agony
I don't have the face to sing, but I don't long for home either
Who brought us here, and who does Leena want?

    (Chorus)

    (Chorus 2)
Ordinary people want true tv, own home and a small family.
A spacious car and a cottage by the beach, sun tan and a small pc

    Ordinary people want true tv
    Ordinary people want true tv
    We want true tv

    (Chorus)
    (Chorus2)

    Really, really true tv?
    Really true tv?

    errrr typo...
"expect too much drink..." should be "except too much drink..."

Still a clarification. By "true tv" I mean "reality tv" such as Big Brother etc.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reality_tv

The Finnish translation for "reality tv" is "tosi tv". "Tosi" as an adjective means "true" or "real".

The lyrics are sarcastic and full of multiple meanings which are probably hard to understand if you don't know any Finnish.

Good job, I like this song. (Even though I'm Finnish, so I don't really need a translation, but my a friend of mine liked this song and practically begged me to translate it. Now I don't have to. ^^)

I've been searching for the translation of this song! Thank you so much!!!
But reading it I have a question: who is Leena? Someone from some reality-tv show? =)

And I adore the video... I understand what's going on in it, also thanks to the subtitled parts (thank you GoogleTranslator), but can somebody tell me what the man is saying in the beginning and end of the video? (just a small summary of it would be more than enough ^^)

    kiitos
