i've searched the whole internet for translation and couldnt find even one word!! i need help!!plzzzzzzzzzzz

@any Finnish members: I translated "ikävä" as "longing", but I know that "ikävä" can be put in different meanings. Can you say, what should it be here in this translation? Or is Longing ok? Or maybe it is meant as word Unpleasant here (in example)?

....one question though..how do you know finnish so well if you're from Estonia?
im so jelous of youuu.. i'm a bit obsessed with Finland and finnish.. i wish i knew finnish

Hehe, Estonia and Finland are very close to each other geographically.
Also, we kind of bonded for long time ago already; it has also to do something with Estonia's political past. We have long history between us.
And before we got our independence back (we was under Soviet Russian regime), Finland was the closest "window to freedom".
So we watched Finnish tv, made friends with Finns, and i guess, i just learned the language in the way.

I am far from being perfect in Finnish, but i do hope, that you are satisfied with translation.

cool..i'm trying to learn finnish for over a year now.. but its hard because when i'm asking in a bookstore for something to learn finnish from they dont even know what this language is..and almost no one hear heard where estonia is.. andmost of the people who do know estonia say astonia..i gotta tell you.. that can be so anoying.. so the only way i can learn finnish is from the net..its hard but im not giving up hope..XD

Finnish might seem a difficult language to learn at first.
Especially for those, who are from different language group (different placing of words in sentence, different grammar basing).
The vowels and consonants change is difficult too.

But once you get the "language feeling", then it suddenly starts to show, that it has logic

And the best way is of course: communicating in the language, that you try to learn. This would be the best practice.

EditToAdd: About misspelling country name: yes, this is the "curse" of small countries, like Estonia. Even in Europe people ask, where Estonia exactly would be And, we are a member of European Union, so it is funny to find out that Europe doesn't know, who are their EU members ...

This isn't a word to word translation but I don't think poems or lyrics should be translated that way (though I suppose it's better in a sense, as now you're reading how I interpret it... the same message remains though). And anyways, since there's a more accurate translation already it shouldn't matter.
