This is a bit of a challenge. The song is probably more about the way the words sound in Finnish than any meaning, so maybe it should not be translated at all. It seems to be making up words on the way, has references to Kalevala and probably to other things that I'm missing. I'm Finnish myself, but I've wondered if this song can be translated in any meaningful way at all. It was originally used in a theatrical performance with other things going on besides Alanko and his band. I'm going to translate just some bits that I think I can pull off, feel free to edit and complete it.
