Thank you very much Vanda, you are wonderful.
Persian surprises me every day! I wish I had started learning it earlier.
You know, Turkish and Persian have many loan words from Arabic. Turkish borrowed a lot of words from Persin, too. Apart from these, Persian has similarities with English. All these makes Persian a very easy language for me. A lot of sentences have similarities. Examples? Here they are:
Persian: (on the telephone) Salom Baba, manam.
Turkish: Selam Baba, benim.
Persian: Emruz hava khaili sard.
Turkish: Bu gn hava hayli sert.
Nice, isn't it?
I like this place. I'll be around.

an attemt of translation
Video Clip - ایران کلیپ - نوانمای مرو ای دوست با صدای اصفهانی در ترانه مرو ای دوست
The song at this address seemed to be easy for me and I have done my first Persian translation attempt. If I have made too many mistakes, please give it to my enthusiasm.
Here is the translation:
Dont go my friend
Dont go out of my hand, oh love!
Because I am alive with your smell
And with your flower-like face
What shall I do with a lonely heart
What shall I do with the agony of heart
What shall I do with this problem
My heart, oh my heart!
And here is the Persian script:
مرو ای دوست مرو ای دوست
مرو از دست من ای یار
که منم ذنده به بوی تو
به گل روی تو
چه کنم با دل تنها
چه کنم با غم دل
چه کنم با این درد
دل من ای دل من
I wish I could find the full song and the lyrics.
