Hi all This is my first post here, and I would like to request the lyrics of two songs by Andy - Faghat Ye Negah and Che Misho, with English translation if possible. Thank a LOOOOT :-)

Oooo Lavender!!! Thank you soooooo much for the lyrics. Thank you also for advise re "eltemas"... While the lyrics you provided is so great and beautifyl, I'm afraid we are talking about different songs. The one I requested (by Andy) really goes "Chi Mishod". It is actually one of Andy's earliest and most famous songs. I understand parts of it:

chi mishod, age mishod - what would have happened
ye ruzi ashegham beshi - if you fell in love with me one day
arezooham mimiran - my dreams will die
age to male man nashi - if you don't become mine

You think my understanding and translation is ok? It took me hours of listening to separate words from one another coz I just recently started my Farsi.

Ama zabanetun kheyli ghashang ast!!!

I guess I also understand some bits of the "Ye Negah"...
Ye negahe to baram mojdeye eshgh avorde... WOW... How beautiful... Would be so great if you could get this one too... Thanks in advance, friend!

So I have this Persian techno song called 'Ye Negah' (by Griffin?), and it sounds very similar to my language, punjabi (punj-ab-i).
I was wondering if any of you could post a Farsi version (in English alphabet so I know how the words are pronounced), and the meaning of the lyrics in English.
I'm very good with languages (R/S/W >5 languages), and I'm getting a feeling that Farsi would be the next one!

Hello. While I don't have the lyrics you request, I'm sure the two languages have the same roots -- all Indo-European languages originate from the Sanskrit. You would also have many words from my language /Uzbek/ because Baboor, the founder of the Moghul Empire, came from what is now Uzbekistan, actually my home city of Andijan :-). I admire your command of 5 languages. I myself speak 6 and am learning 7th /French/ :-) Cheers.
