Standing inside this darkness
Staring into the light
Gazing upon your beauty
Not wanting to leave the night
The barriers between us
The limits of our minds
And those of fools around us
We can leave them far behind

The ideal of ignorance
Is slowly fading here
Deeper into this darkness
The terror's becoming real
You need not face this friendless
You need not be alone
We'll turn our backs on this world
And begin to make our own

Wandering through this nightmare
Feeling cold and alone
It's time for our departure
