    Default Fiery Dreams

    Are there words there where...
...the sun is poison, summer's a nightmare
Heavy eyes barely open can't get away
From a lethargic attempt to stay awake
    Evasion failed in the end
I'm scared of dreaming. Everyone is dead
Walking is slow motion. Distant voices
Reach the core where all the abysses
Celebrate the name day of confusion
I awaken just before the utter delusion

    The rusty scale
    Measuring the pain
    Finally, breaks
    Entirely breaks

There is always an ultimate solution
    Apart from a faint smile
It is, always, all up to me
    I know, then I forget
    Whatever is on my mind
Now that fiery dreams invaded my world
I have a different kind of empire
With naked trees in the black background
All alone I'm staring at the ground
Until I lose the precious sense of sight
And dream again the same trap of life

    Nice
What genre do you have in mind?
Tus ojos llenan mi alma con sueños....
And your kisses make them all come true.

Whoa. Been there. You express it so very well, the grip of the nightmare abyss of Fiery Dreams. I love the short verses between the "Fiery Dreams" and the somewhat more "awake" thoughts, which also express entrapment or impairment from the experience. Your short verses make a fantastic poetic break from the barbaric Empire where one is held imprisoned by the hellish invisible bindings of nightmares . . . which are all too similar to awakenings.

I wish I knew a word with which to convey my connectedness to your poem, perhaps a foreign word, or even from a language I've never heard before . . . However, the best I can find in English is:

    Empathy,

Thank you. Did you know that "empathy" is originally a Greek word? (en + pathos)

    And you're welcome.

So I did find a foreign word for expression!
No, actually I was unaware of the Greek origin.
Greek & Latin > the magic keys to every language!!
