Default Miscellaneous (not lyrics) SR/CR/BH <-> EN Translations

Please ask for translations of short sentences, texts and sayings from Serbian / Croatian / Bosnian to English and vice versa in this thread and we will be happy to help!

In other words, all translation requests that are not related to lyrics should be posted here and moderators will move them here in case such requests get lost elsewhere.

Kinda useful thread guys So here we go, i need your help.
The phrase: "jel vam tesko da se javite, ako ne zelis reci mi da znam da ti nedosadjujem ali javi odma pozdrav".
As far as i get it: "Is it hard for you to answer, if u dont want tell me so that i know and dont bother but send the answer immediately"
I just wanna know if i get it right, cuz this is kinda important

Default General learning questions

what is the correct way to say the following in Croatian?
I'm sorry - Ispričavam se
or Oprostite?
Where is my love(male) - Gdje se nalazi moje ljube or Gdje se moje ljube?
Where is my love (female) - Gdje se nalazi moja ljubavi or gdje se moja ljubavi?
I am happy - Sretan sam (sretan = happy, sam = I am, do I have this correct)
I am sad - Tužan sam (tužan = sad, sam = I am)
I am hungry - gladen sam
How are you - Kako ste? or Kako si?
I am fine, thank you and you - Dobro sam, hvala na pitanju or Dobro sam, hvala i ti?

Mnogo hvala to who helps me. (what would be to who helps me be in Croatian?)

vodica is diminutive for voda (water)
the word for guide is vodič

besjede is plural noun for allocution, speech, story telling (something like that.. its an old word)
uvele is adjective used e.g. with the word ruže (plural for rose) if they are whithered (dead; dry)
šaputati means whispering and šapće is version of the verb used with male nouns
polomiću means I will break
trune = something is rotting (like the dead rose for example )

Hvala Spring!! your explanation will help me!!! I am grasping the somewhat simple things from the croatian song translations .. hehe .. now I am trying to piece together simple sentences etc.
why did you use je instead of se in gdje "je" moja ljubav?

You mean in
Where is my love (male) - Gdje se nalazi moje ljube or Gdje se moje ljube?
as opposed to:
Gdje je moja ljubav?

well.. you can also say:
Gdje se nalazi moja ljubav
but... not really... because, Gdje se nalazi is used when you literally ask for location of something, like Gdje se nalazi autobuska stanica? (where is (located) bus station)

Oh my hvala!! ooooooooh I see there is Serbian in there also!! awesome!! I added the cyrillic language to my language bar so I could see if there was a correspondence to english keyboard .. it appears to be the same .. on il/elle and ils/elles I see we have neutral, male & female genders is that correct?
on - neutral
ona - female
one - male

oni - neutral
one - male
ona - female

or do I have them completely reversed?

Hvala!!!
