Oh, I'll have a hard translating this. I believe the translation will be very literal, but it is "rough" even in Serbian!
Man with the Moon in his eyes
Gloomy and dumb
a poplar cracked by the strike of lighting
staring at a "too deep glass"
he looked alien to me and he seemed normal
but then I noticed
reflection of the moon in his eyes
He addressed to me: "Who the business is going on?"
"Yea, what the devil it goes good!"
He thereupon suddenly blew up at me
measured me out with a spectral look
"You know nothing, dear brothers (fellows)
You don't know who is to kill a city
you don't know what are the bogies of the muddy trenches
you don't know what is to sleep now
when I close my eyes I see nothing but those roofs
When I close my eyes I, "mobe" pass across the sky
(moba is bee = a meeting in a group where people combine work, competition and pleasure, but I don't understand what the writer wanted to say)
the scent of a guest's room could be smelt
a wedding echoes throughout the sky
when I close my eyes, faces promotes (to pass by and disappear) in the sky
a swarm of "tamburica" (a small guitar) "flickers"
the mother-of-pearl of Dunube slides down
("Danube slides down mother-of-pearl")
The beast of madness, why have you woken up
a black prince gave you a kiss
But I'll not feel shame
because I'll not see (face) God
because that is not the God that I have known
You don't know, there's no the released ones
grenade inerleaves my every silence
the first stricken is saved
and all others are eternal hostages of the bed dream (incubus)
When I close my eyes, vessels pass across the sky
bells, barking, the neighbor's disputes
the scent of a fresh plought
but when it dawns, the river winds whine
is that river fairies make a plaint
Danube slips down incense
