    Default Scarlet Lady- Lyrics

    Verse 1:
Drunken nights with friends, this girl lives for the dark
There's nothing you can change she loves getting mashed up in the park
Stan thinks she goes too far with the drink, so she blows him a kiss and gives him a cheeky little wink.

    Bridge:
Now the road has gone too far, he thinks will you ever go back to being my true star.
Is there something your not telling me, cause I've heard so many things they call word on the street.

    Chorus x2

Her man Stan thought she was his world
Her man Stan thought she was his girl
Her man Stan called her my baby
Her man Stan called her my sweetheart
But Stan didn't know she was a Scarlet Lady
Stand didn't know they called her the London tart.

    Verse 2
When she walks down the road, guys want to come and play
Stan says lets go away, lets get away for today
She says I'd rather stay her, I'd rather stay her and drink my sorrows away

    Bridge:
Now the road has gone too far, he thinks will you ever go back to being my true star.
Where have you gone? I can't find you anymore,
where have you gone? You've gone too far.

    Chorus x2

    Verse 3
He finally caught her cheating with another guy
He says I've had enough, I've had enough, It's time to say goodbye
I didn't think it would hurt this much but now it feels I'm about to die. I hope you get what you deserve cause nobody likes these lies.

    Bridge:
Now the road has gone too far, he thinks she never went back to being my true star.
There must be something wrong with her, cause she was out of control, she was more than a flirt
She's what they call a diamond, she's a diamond in the dirt.

    Chorus x3

I think this is really really good. I'm trying to get a handle on how the music might go. Did you write this as a slow-blues tune? I could also (almost) see it in heavy-metal. How does it play for you?
There is no glamour in sudden death, and nobody ever wins a war.

Thanks, I kind of see it like a soft rock song. Like a mix of Jamie T, Jack Penate and The King Blues. If you know who any of them are lol
