Of course, a breakup song. But I like to delude myself into thinking it's a little different than most. I wrote some music with my friend to it, but I have yet to preform it anywhere. The song is basically about a guy I was dating who started to dip into the wrong crowds and doing stupid things.
The song is nowhere near the standard that it should be. So any critiques or comments on it are wonderful.

Keats and Yeats, for all his lonely night,
I quote Wilde during every kitchen fight.
He refuses to every walk behind,
so he's told me, he's my kind.

All the time, a touch of black and blue,
and every peice of bubble gum he chews
he gives to me to throw away.
I'm not careful, and he's going astray.

*You've done wrong to give up on yourself Tay,
it only gets worse it never gets better, please back away.

Your levi's long ripped at the knees,
your mouth never stops, harsh words and expertise.
Flip you hair, come on, call me back,
can you call me back and tell me what I lack.

Do you really mean what you say?
Those blue skies aren't here today.
Are you sure this is what you need?
You make me sorry I ever agreed.

*You've done wrong to lose it all this way
it's getting worse so goodbye better, hey Tay?

It's all just come sliding down,
this slippery slope, your heart your frown.
And it's all there, at your feet
it's about time to admit deceit.

*You've done more than wrong, to lose me too Tay
For in losing me you've left yourself sway.
And it's all gone and left you this way,
so now there's nothing more, that I need to say,
I'm sorry I gave up on you long ago Taylor.
