Been all over the place searching for the lyrics to a song by the 'kit kats' called Lets get lost on a Country road.
I think it may have come out in 1969. Any help would be appreciated greatly.

I found you when I did a search for "Let's get lost on a country road kit kats lyrics." It was a great tune, and around 1969 sounds right. (I guess you grew up in Philadelphia because no one anywhere else seems to have heard of it.)
The few lines of lyrics that I can recall were:
Let's get lost on a country road
Let's get lost on a country road
(I hink the next line began "Little girl..."
Think how the night would be
If you would go with me
There'll just be you and me tonight
O, how beautiful the night would be
A country road and you and me
...
Wish I knew the rest.
Let me know if you ever find anything else.
You can find this great song on youtube.com. Just look up Let's Get Lost On A Country Road by the Kit Kats. It's there in it's entirety.
Let's Get Lost on A Country Road
Let's Get Lost on A Country Road
Little girl that I see, drive a country road with me,
Place your self, by my side, have a country world inside
Just think all the sights we'll see, if you will go with me, there'll just be you and me tonight.
Oh, so beautiful the night will be, a country road & you and me,
The moon won't have to shine and then your eyes will be our light
There'll be no rush; we'll take it slow, no matter where the road may go,
We'll just drive on, and meet the rise of dawn
Let’s get lost on a country road,
Let’s get lost on a country road.
Little girl, fantasy, drive a country road with me.
We should go, come and see,
Have a country fantasy.
Just think all the sights we’ll see,
If you will go with me,
There’ll just be you and me tonight.
Oh, so beautiful the night will be,
A country road and you and me.
The moon won’t have to shine tonight,
Your eyes will be our light.
There’ll be no rush, we’ll take it slow,
No matter where the road may go,
We’ll just drive on,
And meet the rise of dawn.
(Musical interlude)
Let’s get lost on a country road,
Let’s get lost on a country road.
Little girl, fantasy, drive a country road with me,
We should go, come and see,
Have a country fantasy.
Just think all the sights we’ll see,
If you will go with me,
There’ll just be you and me tonight.
Oh, so beautiful the night will be,
A country road, and you and me.
The moon won’t have to shine tonight,
Your eyes will be our light.
There’ll be no rush, we’ll take it slow,
No matter …

…Beautiful the night will be,
A country road, and you and me.
The moon won’t have to shine tonight,
Your eyes will be our light.
There’ll be no rush, we’ll take it slow,

*Just drive on,
And meet the rise of dawn. * repeat 3x
