Brazil World Cup Chant

I wrote these lyrics in Toronto to design a new chant for my home country, Brazil, well in advance of the 2014 Brazil world cup games. Hopefully sports fans will like it and people will come together and sing it to cheer on my country next year.

The colours of the World's best team are yellow blue white and green.

Everything ran smoothly for Brazil
But the final was a bitter pill
Suddenly they lost their touch
When they had to play the Dutch
And they were beaten seven nil

Just a joke. In all honesty I don't think my country will get very far at the World Cup. But they did qualify yesterday!

I have seen how far they have gotten in the past in their competition against other countries and see they will get far

Thanks. I am surprised that it came to me pretty fast in a day (the lyrics) and the melody I put with it came to me even faster. I am ready to share it in Toronto next year. Maybe people that go from Toronto to the World Cup in Brazil can bring it with them and sing it to show their support when in the country.
