    When Worlds Collide

    The stars will shine
    Down on the world tonight
    And we will see
    Everything, that once was
    Shrouded in mystery
    We will uncover the history
    "Chorus"
    And we will run
    Into the setting sun
    We will rise
    Until worlds collide
    And our stars
    Filled with empty lies
    Will come crashing down
    Cashing down
    When worlds collide

And we will fall until the day
    We find, a way
    to cope With the pain
Oh it's so hard not to runaway
It's so hard not to break
When the world is spinning round
    When we all fall down
    "Chorus"
    But we will run
    Into the setting sun
    We will rise
    Until worlds collide
    And our stars
    Filled with empty lies
    Will come crashing down
    Cashing down
    When worlds collide
    When worlds collide
    When worlds collide
    We will rise
    "Bridge"
    In this darkest hour
    We will find
    Light at the end
    Of the tunnel
So far In yet it effects
    Our lives
    Our lives
    "Chorus"
    And we will run
    Into the setting sun
    We will rise
    Until worlds collide
    And our stars
    Filled with empty lies
    Will come crashing down
    Cashing down
    When we collide
    When we collide

You have such elegant flow to your lyrics, making it a joy everytime I read them, even though it's simple, it's true and honest. And I love it when great minds think alike, even if that sounds a bit pretentious and cliche lol I feel you man

I believe in complex simplicity it seems so simple in yet if you read it enough you will realize there is so much more to it, it has no answer or complete meaning it only paints the picture of what it is talking about but leaves a blank for the reader or listener to fill. Thank you I like it when I think similar to people it makes me feel like I'm not the only crazy writer out there who treats his songs like they are his children haha. A lot of people just don't get it they think it's just words on a paper but it's so much more than that it's like a piece of our souls.

The song has verve, strength and energy. U2's I Will Follow or the Cult's She Sells Sanctuary pop up in my head when I read the lines. Is this the musical direction you were thinking of?

This just describes John so well. He has an elegant flow to everything he does not just lyrics.

I love the chorus! Really nice!
The journey has begun. "Nothing safe is worth the drive."

John! I have noticed that lying and lies get a lot of space in your poetry. Nothing wrong with it. Reflecting a good deal of our society and different worlds, religions, cultures it's natural . Well -worded again and sharp- edged

The whole idea is that we use lies to help better understand the truth. For instance cultures from thousands of years ago made up stories in order to understand why we had seasons and rain and what ever else. Well anyway these lies to better understand the truth cloud what is real and what is made up. We try to believe in evolution but just like anything else it is hard to prove so how do we know it is real and not just a minor lie that explains the full truth. Parts of evolution can be proven but not all of it yet so would if all the blanks that are filled are really just lies. Same thing goes of any religion. So that's the idea we don't know what is real and what is make believe because we come up with ideas or lies that help explain what we don't understand.

The first verse and the chorus were very enjoyable to read. The second verse and the bridge falters and needs to be re-written. It would be interesting to hear these lyrics put to music.
