Need Help with Phil Collins Song/Genesis

I had heard on the radio a couple of times bits and pieces of a Phil Collins song, but I have never really been in a place that I could listen too it and get the lyrics. But here is what I can tell you about it:

It is a slow slong with minimal instramentation. For the most part it is the classic organ (like in "I don't care anymore") and some drums. It is also not in the air tonight, but it is in the same line of those songs, slow spooky sounding song.

I am not sure if it is a Genesis or a Phil Collins song. But I have had a very hard time finding the song.

Maybe one part of the lyric is "............all of my life."

I took a listen at Amazon.com and that was not the song. The one I heard was more dark sounding and had way less instramentation. Just the drums and organ (like the one heard in "I don't care anymore). I wish I could hum it for you.

Thats not it either. A little too much drums and other electronics. Still more just organ and drums. Phil is a little more low key in this one than on Mama. But good guess.

When he sings the verse in the mystery song he kind of trails his voice up at the end of the verse to match the organ. I don't think this song is one of his chart toppers.

The song maybe is a little more mellow like the begining of in the air tonght..

I'm goin' crazy! Do you think it's probably Genesis or a later Phil Collins? I have about every song and I just can't get it. You're giving excellent descriptions for anyone who would be a fan so I don't think this will take long.

If I had to guess I would say that it would either be early Phil or else genesis. It kind fits that era of songs from him. I really like Phil Collins too but I just can't place that song. Its not one of his big hits yet it was on the radio. I am sure that it was him singing the song.

To instramental and overdone. The mistery song is not a very big production number, like in the lines of PC ealier works.

The song "Do you remember" has the line "All my life" in it
