    Default Translation for Kaçacağım please

    Hi,

When it is summer and it's hot outside, it is hard to get to a computer, but I've got a song to translate. I know that kaçacağım means I will escape, but the song has a few complex "words".

    Zardanadam - Kaçacağım

    Ne sevda sığar içime,
    Ne sevinç, ne hüzün.
    Bir başka olurum,
    Yağmur yağınca.

    Kaçacağım bir gün buralardan,
    Gözlerimi kapatıp, gökkuşağı düşleyerek…
Al beni rüzgar götür uzaklara, götür sonsuza…

    Ne umut kaldı içimde,
    Ne gözümde gözyaşı.
    Nasıl aşsam,
    Yüreğimdeki uçurumları.

    Saan

    Kaçacağım (I'll escape)

    Ne sevda sığar içime,
    (neither love fits into me)
    Ne sevinç, ne hüzün.
    (nor happiness, nor depression)
    Bir başka olurum,
    (I become different)
    Yağmur yağınca.
    (when it rains)

    Kaçacağım bir gün buralardan,
(I'll escape from here one day)
    Gözlerimi kapatıp, gökkuşağı düşleyerek…
/closing my eyes and dreaming rainbow...)
Al beni rüzgar götür uzaklara, götür sonsuza…

    Ne umut kaldı içimde,
(neither I have hope in my inside)
    Ne gözümde gözyaşı.
    (nor tear in my eyes)
    Nasıl aşsam,
    (how can I crest)
    Yüreğimdeki uçurumları.
    (the bluffs in my heart...)

    Thank you for the translation.

By the way, you forgot to translate the sentence "Al beni rüzgar götür uzaklara, götür sonsuza".

I'll give it a shot here: "Take me wind, take me far way, take me to eternity"
I think this is correct but I could be wrong

aşsam ---> i suppose aşsa means "might cross", or "can cross"?
Yüreğimdeki --> why is there a "ki" at the end of the word?

    The lyrics are quite nice.

your first translation is correct. "aşsam" means (in the above context) "how to crest, how can I crest". or "I wish I could crest".

"-ki" is a suffix that is attached to nouns. for example "yüreğimde-ki uçurumlar". If it were "yüreğimde uçurumlar", the meaning would change, it would mean "bluffs (are) in my heart". But when you use "-ki", meaning is "the bluffs in my heart", so bluffs are definite. I couldn't explain well, if you didn't understand ask again, ok?
Meanwhile, I'm sorry for forgetting to translate that sentence

I understand now. I used to think that ki only meant "that".
    Thanks for the clarification

I'll probably be posting another song soon.....
