Ok, I have been hunting for the title of this song and artist for many years. Amazon is no help. Perhaps you can help me.
It's a techno/house song from 80's-early 90's I think. It was played in a segment of CBS's 48 hours in 1993, I think. It has a female vocal saying "can you feel it, can you feel it?" on and off. Towards the end, the voice goes into saying "ccccc-can you feel it?". Sounds almost like a techno/house parade/anthem. At first I thought it was by orbital, but I relistened to it again and This is not by orbital.
I hope you can help me with this--This has been driving me crazy for several years.
Can you feel it,
Can you feel it,
Can you feel it, Can you feel it,
Can you feel it,
Can you feel it,
If you look around
The whole world's coming together now
yeah..
Can you feel it,
Can you feel it,
Can you feel it,
Feel it in the air,
the wind is taking it everywhere
yeah..
Can you feel it,
Can you feel it,
Can you feel it,
All the brothers of the world should be
Lovin' each other wholeheartedly
Yes, it's all right
Take my message to your brother and tell him twice
Spread the word and try to teach the man
Who's hating his brother, when hate won't do
'Cause we're all the same,
'Cause the blood inside me is inside you
C'mon now tell me....
Can you feel it,
Can you feel it,
Can you feel it,
Can you feel it,
Can you feel it,
Can you feel it,
Every breath you take
Is someone's death in another place
Every healthy smile
Is hunger and strife to another child
But the stars do shine
In promising salvation, is near this time
Can you feel it now
So brothers and sisters
Sure we know how
Now tell me
Can you feel it,
Can you feel it,
Can you feel it,
Can you feel it,
Can you feel it,
Can you feel it,
All the children of the world should be
Loving each other wholeheartedly
Yes, it's all right
Take my message to your brother and tell him twice
Take the news to the marching men,
Who are killing their brothers, when death won't do
'Cause we're all the same
Yes, the blood inside my veins is inside of you
