Has anyone ever heard of mecha being used as slang?
Hi! is "mecha" on its own? I just remembered an expression used in Mexico: "pa' su mecha"...

As far as I know "mecha" is the Spanish word for "wick", the part of a candle or oil lamp that burns. I don't think I've ever heard it used in slang. If it used in slang, I would say that it may be in regards to smoking weed or something similar.

some people use "pa' su mecha" instead "pa' su madre"...
as me, coz I don't like to use "madre" as bad word!
the first love is gone ... am waiting for the last one!!
Mecha is used when the people talks about robot's series... like robotech too :P
"the robotech mechas are better than the gundam wing mechas"
:P...
I believe in some countries "mecha" is used as in Cuba they use what would be the equivalent word "candela"
As in the phrase "que le den candela", which basically implies, "give him what he deserves" (in a negative connotation)
.... like, "give em hell?" That would make sense, since "candela" and "mecha" refer to fire. Isn't this interesting???? Thanks BAGurl!
pegaito means?
yes i jUS saiD tHt,YeS ItS tRue,YuR A juMpOFF!
"pegadito" comes from "pegado" which means "stuck together". The way I have heard it in song lyrics, it refers to two people being really close to each other physically, literally "stuck together".
yeah, bailar pegado/pegao/pedadito/pegaito is dancing tight (as very close)
like in W&Y song "Pegao"
sometimes it is also referred to as "perrear", equivalent in english "grind" [or dancing in a slutty way with your partner ]
Back home a nota loka (loca) is that you've got a really good buzz going on...either from drinking or smoking...or both!
