First the writing is completely different, not to forget the pronounciation
Arabic people is : العرب (Arab, 3rab)
and closer is: قرّب qarreb, or arreb (come closer)

I think you're taking lines from Fadl Shaker and Yara's duet? But again those are lyrics and used in a poetic sense so the meanings and words differ.. they're more figurative than literal.. I really advise that you either translate a song as a whole and then you can ask what a word means in that thread than to pick parts of lyrics and single out words and ask in here because it may not always match with what the song is speaking of.. You'd get a more accurate translation that way

Yes is from yara and fadl shaker ,i know what means in duet,but look strange for me,i know what means "kelem" and "kelemy" i suppose that means my talk,but look strange in a phrase .
