Hi,
Fog en nakhal fog Yaba fog en nakhal fog
Madri lama khaddak yaba Madril gomar fog
Wallah mareedak Baleeni balwah
Ma agdar aa sabri erraha ayni wa it'hmal abbad w allah maadebni bayoun el helwe
The name's song is fog en nakhel - above the palm trees. My arabic is not good enough for a good translation so let's wait for an arabic speaker.
This is a very old and traditional iraqi song. It was firstly perfomed by Nazem Ghazali and Sabah fakhri. There is also another version by Ilham madfai

ahh.. thnx for the info!
Anyone ?
So here is my attempt :
Fog en nakhal fog Yaba fog en nakhal fog
Above the palm trees my father , Above the palm trees
Madri lama khaddak yaba Madril gomar fog
I don't know what that is shining my father, either her face or the moon
Wallah mareedak Baleeni balwah
And I swear I don't want her , she is putting me in trouble
Your shiny cheeks oh my love and my eyes ,enlighten the country
Ma agdar aa sabri erraha ayni wa it'hmal abbad w allah maadebni bayoun el helwe
I have no patient to rest oh my eyes while she is so far away and I swear I've been tortured by her beatiful eyes
As I told you before neither my arabic and english are very good so ,probably, I made many mistakes. Hope somebody correct my translation.

Me too Louie. But I love the version for Ilham al madfai. A mix of arabic tunes and jazz. Worthwhile to listen :
