Well gee.... I always hate to disagree....but the original original goes way back to Tchaikovsky in the 1880's.

The 1968 movie version....I agree with JP...... was Henery Mancini

Exactly Jesse! But in his little discography no such song "Telegram" or similar, but voice is very similar. (About this Jesse to me have prompted from another ID forum).
I think there is one more rare song.

That's just what I think. A third single that he did but uber-rare (as usual)...fingers crossed it'll turn up on ebay sometime.

5 is Cusco - Alcatraz
about 6 song, on guy from other forum told me that is "FRANCO MORY - Melodia D'amore", but i'm not sure about this, cause no information about this artist nowhere.
