Solved: "whatever happened to me" 80s song?!

Hey!
I need help... i have this song in my head.. an 80´s song.. which i thought was Alison Moyet or Erasure... the chorus goes something like "whatever happened to you, whatever happened to me".. it´s a famous song but i can´t find it anywhere.... kinda poppish slow song. Sounds exactly like Moyet though... hmmm.......
Please, anyone??

When I read "whatever happened to you, whatever happened to me", the first thing I thought of was "Who do you want me to be to make you sleep with me".

There was a British TV prog (it was still around late 70's) that had these exact lines in their theme, but it's not sung by a woman - but I'll post it anyway just incase

Nope... not that one iether... i know for a fact thougg it´s a pop song... man or woman... 80s or early 90s song.. typical 80s slow pop. It´s so alike Moyet or Erasure, the sound and the voice... damn.... it´s very alike Moyet´s song "Only you"....

Dapps, Exploring your suggestion a little further, the band Snuff had a song called "What Ever Happened to the Likely Lads" but the vocals were all male. However, when the band broke up, band member Duncan Redmonds formed a new group (Duncan's Divas) consisting of Japanese females. Perhaps they re-released the song?

My point stays:
Do record a mp3 of yourself humming, whistling...(whatever) the tune, and it may be solved. Since one barely remembered melody is 1000 times better than 20 different versions of (possibly misheard) lyrics.

I found this information but don't know if it's correct because I can't find a clip for "Whatever Happened to (Me And You Boy)?
