For me it´s still hard to unterstand.

Is there a specific meaning in arabic for "I became an extension to the fire"?

Second.. no not exactly, but IMHO I think it means that he became like another copy of his friend

OMG I just realized that my translation doesn't distinguish between pronouns correctly ... now I know why you are confused
But I also don't know how to distinguish between them in the translation

the song includes three characters.. The singer, the singer's male best friend, and that best friend's girlfriend (hope u'r catching up so far)

The singer is talking to his friend's girlfriend...

In the first 3 verses he's showing the similarities between him and his "male" best friend
In the 5th and 6th verses, he's talking to the girlfriend and reminds her how his best friend didn't treat her right
In the 7th,8th, and 9th verses, he's talking to the girlfriend and telling her how she took advantage of him (him refers to the singer)
In the last 2 verses he's telling the girlfriend that he's too proud to be just a replacement to his best friend

Now did I just make it more confusing , or did I clarify it
