Regarding my first language or mother tongue it is PUNJABI it is slightly different from HINDI but HINDI is a beautiful language especially when you want to express love feelings and you can do it in different words unlike arabic where nearly all the same words are used

Of course I watched Kaho Na Kaho as soon as I discovered the link provided by Tahira. Thank you for your nice offer to translate the Hindi words, but the video on youtube is already subtitled. What I liked most about it is that the mixture of Hindi and Arabic sounds so beautifully harmonious!

I don't really know whether there are more songs called "Tamally maak"; I think we need someone with deeper knowledge of Arab music to answer that (hopefully someone in this Forum will be able to say...)

So, you grew up bilingual with Punjabi and Hindi? Where else is Punjabi spoken -other than in the Punjab?

Could you recommend me a few more Hindi -or Punjabi- songs please?

Well, I can't say much about girl's beauty, for I'm a girl myself. But I can say that the looks of some Arab guys out there are a very good motivation for me to try and learn Arabic (but don't say that to my husband, ok?)

As you speek Hindi and Punjabi, maybe you can help me: I am looking for the translation of the song IKLARA bei Ashok Masti. I was told it is punjabi, but I am not sure, and it´s no song from a bollywood movie, but the music reminds on bollywood dance. Unfortunatelly I have no lyrics to show you and I even couldn´t find the song on youtube.
I already started a theard where I asked for this lyrics, but nobody answered. Maybe you have a clue, as ashok Masti is very famous.

hey, just want to say the hindi version of tamally maak is great and so are the lyrics butttttttttttttttttttt Amr Diab is the best still
and hindi as you know has many dialects ... the reason why you can express feelings in many different words are thanks to the urdu (even punjabi) they mix with hindi right ...
