Oh I love it!! mknsh moshkla Haha sorry I'm just loving the african accent these days Ill tell the maghreb crew on board dont worry
Wooow! Abdelwahab Doukkali rocked my childhood! But "Kan ya makan" lasts 9 minutes! I don't think I have enough time and patience to translate it all, but I can give you a résumé...
"Kan Ya Makan" ("Once Upon A Time"), is about two lovers who lived their love in peace, and dreamed of growing old together.
One day, the Qaïd's son falls for the beautiful girl and decides to marry her. The lovers are desperate and suffering agony, so the young boy decides to carry off his beloved, but the villagers stop him.
The lovers are judged and stoned to death! A tree with crossed branches has grown at the point where they are buried.
A green bird comes to visit them every morning and sings their story in the four corners of the world. Lovers come to engage in private prayer on their graves, and old ladies tell their story to the children before they fall asleep.
Hope this helps, and that you'll get your full translation soon!
Ah sorry 7obi I forgot to mention it was very long salem idayki sweetie <3<3
That's what I have :

You are welcome Viva and Rania
Larosa? Ta3i please sa3idini I tried the first half LOL
Once upon a time
Once upon a time
There was a story that the old told the young boys
Before they slept...recited by a poet
Infront of time
He started it with once upon a time
Once upon a time
Me and my love, two lovers
We sheperded sheep, living in contentment
Above the green hillside
At night we stay up
Singing and dreaming
In the morning we go out hugging
Dreaming of the season of yield
I cant remember what ndiro means even though I've been taught it so many times
Holding weddings and giving birth to children (?)
Our dream was growing...and once upon a time
And one day
A boy was born
He saw a deer in the valley
He kidnapped it and ran
He made my tear come down
I couldnt be patient
In a night of joy my heart ached
And the wound leaked and what happened happened
And before morning could look in
And the light of dawn shows
I climbed to the palace
And stole the moon
Wanting to escape with my deer
But the fence was high
And when he jumped he tripped
The family saw us
And the secret became known
Awww my heart is breaking </3 I translated it without hearing the song, just using the arabic lyrics, I'll do the second half while listening, wonder if its going to be harder or easier
