the man singing from the minaret of the mosque in Ao Nang
in the early morning
is a nightingale to his people
but a bagpipe to the tourists
who want to sleep long

Roaring Times:another Amaryn classic!Come visit Hollywood!(Paid for the California Visitors Bureau)
Thank you, pm read and answered. I think Hollywood will remain unvisited as the globe has so much to offer, but thanks for the invitation, lol
walking along this lane
I seek relief of pain
'cause here I realize
that I live now, not twice
who am I to complain?
here I'll return again
to find my peace of mind
I almost left behind
I shall inhale this spring
as time is on a wing
not dwell on memories
my heart it is I'll please
who am I to complain?
when I walk on this lane
I know what I want to be:
a blossoming cherrytree
c: amaryn 2013
at my foot end
lies your silence,
your picture
which does not seem to fade;
many lipps
I have analyzed since
and sometimes
I see my own scars
in a mirror:
for a moment
I find myself totally
unimportant
impressions of Istanbul
the smell of hastily washed women
and the odour of rapidly sweating men
hang in the hall
where erotics
dealt paradise
a deadly blow
morning dawn
stands in a bright orange dress
in the meadow nearby
flirting with me,
whilst farmers pluck
silver sweat
of the mown grass
Doug zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Obviously fast asleep, lol! However: you're right there. I'll be awaiting your comments. Hahaha: no 140 restrictions needed.
What abt writing a song about that,eh?
Agree, Amaryn--all those people and more can express these lonesome feelings in song. Not everyone likes country or bluegrass music. I thoroughly understand why not. If I had not been born here, I wouldn't like this old-fashioned style of country music either. But as it is, it's in my bones.
Decision:love it
Impressions of Istanbul:thanks for the Warning!Sounds like my neighborhood!
Morning dawn:Sweet,like you my Friend!
I really liked the istanbul one, and bagpipes. Both having great line breaks. You seem comfortable with this style, so keep going like this!
LOL That was another delicate remark of yours. Istanbul I visited during my gigs on the Mediterranean and I had a chance to have a good look at it once a week. I walked a lot. It is an amazing place indeed, as contrastive as Rome, culturally a Superpearl.
In "Morning dawn" I wasn't sure if it should be "of the grass" or rather "off the grass" What do ya think, Flower Brother?
"Decision" includes some walking: thanks you liked it, in spite of your sore feet
Music is what feelings sound like
Listen to the Love
~♥♥~
@morning dawn is perfect as you wrote it!"off the grass"or "of the grass"does it matter? As long as you don't "smoke the grass"!!
(hey,it's ATL;the children,the children!)
first winter sat in my lap
but my hands were too cold for comfort
then I took a walk with spring
but I felt too restless to enjoy
when summer knocked at my door
I was fast asleep
then autumn woke me up
and brought colours back into my life
