Could someone translate this please?

Όρε νασαν τα νιάτα
πουλί μου δυο φορές
τα υπρατειά καμμία.

Όρε να ξανανιώσω
πουλί μου μια φορά
να γίνω πουλί μου παλικάρι.

Όρε να βάλω το φεσάκι μου
να βγαίνω παιδία μου στο παζάρι.

1) Many words are simply yiels used to sing during folk songs!
Those words are shown in brown

2) There is NO greek word beggining with "υπρ"....
but the original song speaks about γηρατειά stead of υπρατειά (which is what you wrote)

3) νάσαν = να ἦσαν = να ήταν


So I will rephrase the lyrics and provide the translation

Όρε νασαν τα νιάτα ->
Να ήταν τα νιάτα
If only youth should happened

πουλί μου δυο φορές ->
δυο φορές
twice in a lifetime

τα γηρατειά καμμία. ->
τα γηρατειά καμμία

Thank you very much, Amethystos! You’re right about γηρατειά. I copied the lyrics from Haroula’s site and for a moment I thought that the mistake was there, but when I checked, it turned out that the mistake was mine. I’m losing my sight, spending so much time in front of the computer.
