Through the mist you heard
This is your new soul calling
We are the same and so different
I’ll show you hidden treasures
Once yours
Now mine
Wait for the flashback replaying
I’ve always known your nightmares
I learned them
I held them
I took them in my body
There’s nothing more to teach me
I’ll make the world accept me
Fold it
Then brake it
Your dull reality wasted
To be what you could not be
See through me and view your reflection
So tired of hiding
A dark eternity waiting
You never knew it, now did you?
There’s nothing more to say
I’ll make this life my own way
Take it
Then shape it
My paradise is forming
To be what you could not be
See through me and view your reflection
So tired of hiding
A dark eternity waiting
You never knew it, now did you?
Or did you?
This is so so great. I'm at a loss to say more, specifically, just that I would spend hours listening to this in song, letting the intrigue take me through all the shadows of my own mind and memories.

Both Senza and I worked on this in the style "Waiting In Darkness" as done. It is not my viewpoint, not to such morbid depths yet it is a struggle of when one must face parts of themself and memories forgotten.

Despite my own situation, I think this is relatable on a level where we all have to look at what is really in our hearts. Thank you for you comment, and nice talking to you for the first time!

Just a quick note (I'm really short on time today) but I want to say thanks Joshua and it was pleasure for me too! And I also think there is universality in this, that everyone needs to be able to apply some bare honesty, look inward, try to see themselves as clearly as they can see others. But that can be immeasurably hard sometimes.
I love these lines near the beginning and I keep trying to make them relative in some way to every other verse:
I’ll show you hidden treasures
Once yours
Now mine
In my view, the way that I want to read this, I think those few words speak volumes about the possibilities of the human spirit. Again, great work!

I always love how you read into my work. It helps me see what others see in it. That way, I can focus much farther in on what I am trying to say. I appreciate it so much!
