I work for a WNY grocery store chain that features the InStore Broadcasting Network all day long (ugh!). There are a few songs, apparently selected by someone in Corporate, that I happen to like. I have managed to find a few by using Yahoo lyrics search, Lyrics.com, the MLDB, and a couple of other places, but there are still some I cannot identify. If anyone can help, it would be appreciated, as these bug me something crazy.
Female Artists:
Chorus: "Is there anything left in this world that will satisfy you? whoa! Is there anything left in this world that will satisfy me, tonight?"
Again, in the chorus: "Temptations. It's a part of life. Doesn't matter if it's wrong or right!"
Again, but only pieces of the chorus this time (I work near the bakery oven and refrigerated cases all day so it's difficult to hear at times): It ends with "Keeps me satisfied". There's another part that gets stuck in my head, but it's stuck in there so good right now I can't fish it out.
Male artist:
This song seems to open with what sounds like a violin solo. In the chorus, they sing: "You're not alone. You're not alone" followed a couple lines later by what sounds like "You're not alone. Pick up the phone."
There's a couple more I can't think of right now, but any help with these would be much appreciated.
