Cool Chaz Jankel - Without You - 1983

    Hi,

this one was on quite heavy rotation on my fave radio station in 1983~85, so I would like to get out what he sings.
The problem I have is not about English, but about his falsetto, which always makes understanding words a nightmare! (try to understand "Stayin' Alive" without a lyrics sheet available, and you know what I mean )

    song is here:

I've already started this - ought to save you lots of typing effort.
    Thanks in advance.

    (1st verse)
When you told me you were leaving
I knew you had a reason
    But you know
    I could never
    Believe you

    (2nd verse)
When I woke up on that morning
    The truth is so alarming
Then I saw you that you really
    Walked out the door

    (short chorus)
You, leaving me was a serious crime
    No reason
I, could never live this way
    Without you
    Without you!

    (3rd verse)
All those days we were together
I tried to show how much I care
    But it's not
    Always easy
    To share emotion

The absent days were hard to take
I tried to make a change
    I don't
    Just want you
    For my amusement

    (long chorus)
You, give me everything I need
    To love you
I, will never be the same
    Without you
You, leaving me was a serious crime
    No reason
I, could never live this way
    Without you
    Without you!

    (10 + 2 = 12 bars interlude)

    (4th verse)
I feel you here beside me
I know we could be happy
    So let me
    Be your lover
    For a lifetime!

    (repeat long chorus)
    Ρεμπέτικο για πάντα. Μάγκες είμαστε.

Thanks, looks good for a starter!
(Frankly I was not aware I was actually THAT close. :O)

Corrections---if any---are always welcome, of course!
