علشان ركعتين وفى كل عين دمعت شهيد
He prayed for it and in each of his eyes he held the tears of a martyr
من الحب ليه تستغربو ومن الحقيقة بتهربو
From love why are you shocked, from the truth you run away
سدنا النبى فى بيت الصبى وكل ليله بيلعبو
The prophet in the boys house and every night they play
نبع الفرح فاض من عينيه لما النبى طبطب عليه وبرحمته وحنيته
The spring of joy overflowed from his eyes when the prophet patted his back with his mercy and tenderness
صف الملائكة بين ايديه
The angels line is between his hands
البحر تملا الدموع وندى المجبة على الفروع
The sea is filled with tears and the dew of love on the partings
يا رسول يا حنبن اخر الزمن تبكى الصحابة من الخشوع
Oh tender hearted prophet for the end of time, his companians would cry in their submittance to God
للحب ناسه الطيبين وما هما بعدو قريبين
For love belongs the good people, no matter how far they go they remain near
ومن غير معاد رب العباد ينده لهم قلبى الحزين
And without a date the lord of the creations, my sad heart calls out to them

In fact this song tales the story of the little boy called (his nickname) Abu Omayir, he had a little bird and called it An-no3'air النغير, and Prophet Mohammad صلى الله عليه وسلم used to asked the boy about his bird saying: "يا أبا عمير، مافعل النغير؟", then this bird died. Prophet Mohammad saw that the boy was upset and tearing, so he played with the boy to relief his sadness.
