I was hoping my translation would make some sense!
Well.. this is about social pathology and problems such as poverty, addiction and drug abuse and so on… the gist of the poem is not to rest as long as people of our kind are involved with so many problems. As long as there are such miserable men, women and children in our society, how one could be unconcerned and enjoy their own life?!
