I know I am a new poster and I will probably get shot down for this but seriously! That is absolute garbage, I don't know what half of it is supposed to mean. Example Verse 1. What are you singing about? trapped in a womb, no reason in this room. Don't write stuff just because it rhymes, it has to have meaning. I don't mean to offend, just offer some seriously constructive critisicm. Write about stuff you know and feel, don't try and dress it up with fancy words that just don't make any sense. These lyrics are not provocative of any sort of feeling or emotion. Sorry, you really need to do better.

And if you want to know what I'm talking about, it's just a fancy way of saying, "now I have a reason to be inside because there's a ****ing blizzard outside and I wasn't going to go outside anyways". Actually, I take all of that back. This is probably the worst think I've written. You can read the rest of my work if you want, but I'm sorry for insulting you. There's just much more garbage on here, and this is honestly 10x better.

I didnt mean to insult you pointzero, I know it sounded harsh reading it back. I think lyrics do actually need to make sense. It just didnt speak to me thats all. I expect lyrics to evoke emotion somehow and I just didn't understand. Keep trying dude, the more you write, the better it gets

I am actually 13.

I thought you were young, I started writing too when I was about 7 or 8. if im honest, looking back on some of the stuff I wrote even at about 16/17 I look back and cringe a bit. Having said that its all part of the learning curve and you will get better with more experience. Keep writing, you never know what it could bring in the future.

No, not really. Shadow just joined a couple weeks ago and I'm the youngest member on here as far as I know. And thanks for the criticism.
