Recorded in late 80s or early 80s
Short wave Christian radio from Australia
Unfortunately seriously distorted short-wave air sound
But an exellent song

Here's my best guesses for the lyrics. Maybe it will help...
Ohhhhh.....
I only lean upon (?)
When I cry, hear the lion's roar
I try to be a lamb of God, the king of all
I had to turn Your will to me (?)
And it gets so blind ??????? see
I believe I'll live to urgency (?)
Midnight call (?)
And that's all we are (?)
I believe the ????????
???????????
?????????all
???????????
Bring back the call (?)
Midnight hour (?)
???????????
???????????
It doesn't end, You know our names
Till the midnight hour and to the day (?)
Broken nails, I live alone, going, going (?)
Break down the wall
Break down this wall
Oh no, oh no
I believe the ????????
???????????
??????????all
???????????
Bring back the call (?)
???????????
???????????
And I did it all
???????????
???????? higher
Bring back the call (?)
????????? us all
Father, You are (?) the one
???????????
Can't you hang on
I believe in ?????????
???????????
???????????
???????????
Bring back the chains/change I have to know (?)
I believe in ???????????
???????????
He is the one to call
???????????
Bring back the call (?)
In your heart (?)
Bring back the call (?)

This one has me obsessing since 01-27...
Tried to fix it the best i can. Great song...
Modified clip ***edit removed broken download
Even then, i get almost nothing definite and a lot missing specially the chorus lines. Maybe jp can take another jab at it and we'll compare notes.

Here we go
Take 2
Well, at least that horrible wavering in and out is gone but it's still pretty muffled. I'll edit anything else I come up with but I have a feeling my time would be better spent continuing to look up possible titles: "Bring Back the Call", "Break Down the Wall", etc. What do you mean you have been looking for this song since 1-27? (this thread was just created a day ago). Did you hear this song somewhere too?
This is the second thread for this song no reply on the first one...
Other thread
Whoa! That's even mine!![]()
Heheh...
Well, I was always sure that if people do not answer to a thread, you must not assume nobody read it!![]()
Correct. Even though my comment was rather supposed to allude to the "bumpers" that sometimes "bump" their threads in a somewhat annoying extent...(because they feel that they don't get enough attention)
Anyways, back to topic, enough of my rant.

@BNF: (@ 1'29'')
I can getbroken love i believe is almost ...
(A) broken love that we're livin' on
at this part.
Fully sure about the part in boldface.
So that's 2 pro-"broken love" now.
Have you guys noticed that the two lyrics versions somewhat feel like 2 totally different songs?
A quite hilarious part is the difference between "hear the lion's roar" vs. "seen the lying before"![]()

Yeah, it was so different that I thought BNF had thread hijacked and posted some new song, ha. Since the OP said it was a Christian song that influenced my understanding of the lyrics. BNF's version sounds more like a love song to a girl. And I also agreed the first word was "broken".![]()
There you go, erased my love song lyrics, no more exclusive feelings of hijacking
I'll make sure to post should i get better clues.
Meanwhile...lol
Thanks to all

What's the big idea?
Sorry, but that was a stupid helter-skelter action.
Normally. merging your and jp's efforts (i. e. single lines) will be a bigger step forward than only having one pair of ears to deal with.
Fair enough: jp and I were just being a bit sarcastic, but I had no idea you could get that easily "offended" in no time...
Psychologically, your behavior is very interesting ... because it's a typical over-reaction frequently seen in drama movies and, of course, soap operas.![]()

Thanks frame.
@pianoma74
Hey i'm grumpy, but sensitive; don't do sarcasm or hijacks and my hero is Daffy Duck
Wild difference (2 words in common) so better take it one at a time. Let's see what happens. I'm not quitting, just as as i have not quit the barthez song and dozens of other unsolved. (seems we can add that i'm also not that good...and stubborn). That completes my psychological profile and please no replies....
Now, let's have some music o.k.? (where did i hear that...)
Found this on a Russian Forum...answered by frame

That the song has been found?
Well, I'm having my doubts, unless I get some confirmation from the OP![]()
