Smile Translation of lyrics of Italian songs

I am looking for the English translation of the lyrics of "Lungi da te Ben Mio" by Guiseppe Sarti (1729-1802) :-
    Lungi da te, ben mio,
    se vivere non possio,
    lungi da te che sei,
    luce de-gl'occhi miei,
    vita,
    vita di questo cor,
    venga ed in dolce sono,
    se te mirar non ponno,
    mi chiuda, mi chiuda
    lumi an cor.

    Can anyone help me?

Lungi da te, ben mio,/ far from you, my love,
se vivere non possio,/ if i cannot live
lungi da te che sei,/ far from you, who are
luce de-gl'occhi miei,/ the light of my eyes
    vita,/ life
vita di questo cor,/ life of this heart
venga ed in dolce sono,/ come and in sweet slumber
se te mirar non ponno,/ if they (the eyes) cannot gaze at you
mi chiuda, mi chiuda lumi ancor./ then let them close again
"-Please tell me you're going to appeal to my humanity..."
"-Actually, I'm planning to threaten you."

"Well, if you'll excuse me, I have work to do. Evil plots don't just make themselves, you know!"

Sorry, but I have yet another song for you, Ligeia! It is Angiol di Pace by Vincenzo Bellini (1801-1835):
    Angiol di pace al l'anima,
    La voce tua mi suona,
segui o pieto so e inspirami
    virtu, virtu di perdonar.
    Con quel perdono o misera
    ricevi il mio perdono
    salga conqueste lagrime
    a un Dio di pace,
    di pace e amor.

My music teacher is giving me French and Italian songs to sing, and although I am bilingual in English and French, I can only make informed guesses at the translation of the Italian! Thank you for your patient help.

It's a sort of archaic italian; sometimes it's not easy to understand the meaning of some words even for native speakers!

Angiol di pace al l'anima,/ angel of peace, inside my soul
La voce tua mi suona,/ your voice echoes
segui o pietoso e ispirami/ Go on, merciful, and inspire me
virtu, virtu di perdonar./ virtue of forgiveness
Con quel perdono o misera/ with that forgiveness, poor girl,
ricevi il mio perdono/ receive my forgiveness
salga con queste lagrime/ ascend, with these tears,
a un Dio di pace,/ to a god of peace
di pace e amor./ of peace and love
"-Please tell me you're going to appeal to my humanity..."
"-Actually, I'm planning to threaten you."

"Well, if you'll excuse me, I have work to do. Evil plots don't just make themselves, you know!"

I am working on this older Italian song and need to know the words in english so I can get the feel of the piece. It is "Alma del core" by Antonio Caldara.

    Alma del corre,spirto dell' alma!
    sempre costante t'adorero,
Saro' contento nel mio tormento, se quel bel labro baciar potro'

    Thanks for any help!

Alma del corre, spirto dell' alma!/ Soul of the heart, spirit of the soul
sempre costante t'adorero,/ always and true I shall adore thee
Saro' contento nel mio tormento, se quel bel labro baciar potro/ I shall be merry in my torment, if those lovely lips I will be able to kiss
"-Please tell me you're going to appeal to my humanity..."
"-Actually, I'm planning to threaten you."

"Well, if you'll excuse me, I have work to do. Evil plots don't just make themselves, you know!"

Another song I am working on that I would like translated is Vittoria, mio core! by Giacomo Carissimi (1605-1674)

    Vittoria! Vittoria mio core!
    'E rotto ogni laccio,
    Sparito il timore

    Thank you!

This wasn't easy, let me know if something is not clear...

Vittoria, mio core!/ Victory, my heart
Non lagrimar più,/ weep no more
È sciolta d'Amore/ Freed from Love
La vil servitù./ is the vile slavery

Già l'empia a' tuoi danni/ Aforetime the fiend, to thy detriment,
Fra stuolo di sguardi/amidst a flock of glances
Con vezzi bugiardi/ with false quirks,
    Dispose gl'inganni;/ arranged the deceits

Le frode, gli affanni/ Frauds, troubles
Non hanno più loco,/ have no more place,
Del crudo suo foco/ Of her cruel fire
È spento l'ardore!/ the ardor is spent

Da luci ridenti/ From blithe lights
Non esce più strale,/ no arrow comes out anymore
Che piaga mortale/ (no arrow) that mortal plague
Nel petto m'avventi:/ in my chest can throw

Nel duol, ne' tormenti/ In sorrow, in torments
Io più non mi sfaccio/ no longer I shall despair
È rotto ogni laccio,/ every bound is broken
Sparito il timore!/ gone is the fear
"-Please tell me you're going to appeal to my humanity..."
"-Actually, I'm planning to threaten you."

"Well, if you'll excuse me, I have work to do. Evil plots don't just make themselves, you know!"

Ligeia, if you would be so kind as to translate this song for me:

    Sebben, crudele, mi fai languir,
sempre fedele, sempre fedele ti voglio amar.

Con la lunghezza del mio servir
la tua fierezza, la tua fierezza sapr'o stancar.

    Thank you.

    There you are:

Sebben, crudele, mi fai languir,/ Although, cruel, thou makest me languish
sempre fedele, sempre fedele ti voglio amar./ always loyal and true I want to love thee

Con la lunghezza del mio servir/ with the constancy of my services
la tua fierezza, la tua fierezza sapr'o stancar./ thy pride, thy haughtiness I shall weaken
"-Please tell me you're going to appeal to my humanity..."
"-Actually, I'm planning to threaten you."

"Well, if you'll excuse me, I have work to do. Evil plots don't just make themselves, you know!"
