90s r&b/hip-hop back-up vocals

This has been bugging me, the only thing I can remember about this song I'm looking for is that it was done by a young female singer back in the 90s, and the backup singer kept saying "yep" in a froggy voice, he kept repeating it over and over. Anyone know the song I'm referring to? Driving me nuts.
